The Company
Our client has established a new division within their existing business to service the needs of their client’s in the government (defence and education sectors) on existing and new building construction projects. Due to the increase of projects they are requiring an experienced Project Administrator to join the team to support the growth and operation of the organisation. This is a dynamic position that will oversee the document control process as well managing the project administration across sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, receive and maintain all tender, project and corporate documentation within the document management  system
• Coordinating all activities relating to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings,  operations manuals and commercial correspondence
• Generating the various document control transmittal reports as required
• Ensuring that controlled copies of the latest approved documents, drawings are given to the appropriate stakeholders  both internally and externally as applicable
• Ensure all project documentation meets the required client standards and compliance with national and international     standards and legislation

Experience Required

• A minimum of 3+ years’ relevant experience within the building and construction industry sector is essential
• Understanding of HOTO is highly regarded
• Sound knowledge of document management systems i.e. OmTrak, Aconex QDMS desirable
• Experience on a startup /new project document control system would be high regarded
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) skills
• Must have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work well within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and a positive, ‘can-do’ approach
