Our Client:

Our Client is a privately own Australian company who specialise in the import and distribution of a diverse range of building and industrial supply products across the country. Due to signification company growth, they now have state of the art warehouses located all across the country, with nearly 200 employees nationally.

The Role:

Due to company growth, they are looking for an efficient Warehouse Manager to oversee the current operations of their large warehouse in Bibra lake. Reporting to the State Manager, you will lead a team of Warehouse Coordinators, ensuring safe and efficient work practices throughout the organisation, whilst focusing on maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist all warehouse divisions and manage day to day operations of divisions when required
  • Daily communication with State Operations Manager
  • Ensure orders are processed and distributed inline with delivery timeframes
  • Communicate efficiently with relevant sales, administration staff and customers to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate efficiently stock shortages and damage and discrepancy reports
  • Inventory management
  • Ensure inventory control and stock take procedures are completed accurately
  • Ensure adherence to proper handling of equipment and product procedures
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of current work health and safety regulations and ensure changes are communicated across the business
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis inline with safety standards
  • Ensure company values are enforced across the business
  • Ensure WHS standards are adhered to throughout the organization

To be successful within this position, you will possess the following experience, attributes and qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse management/supervisory experience
  • Experience within managing a team
  • Experience with using MRP/ERP systems
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite including Outlook
  • Understanding of WHS principles within warehousing
  • LF Forklift Licence
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills
