The Company:
Opporunity for a team of 10 skilled Boilermakers and Fabricators to facilitate a 50,000 Square Meter Workshop in Port Kembla. They run job specific projects and work on machinery over 1000T from the mining, steel and infrastructure spaces.
Duties Include:
- Being able to read and manufacture from technical workshop drawings in accordance to scope of work
- Set up and execute product manufacturing operations in accordance with the assigned job documentation
- To manufacture, strip and repair product in a proper and safe manner using the most economical methods
- Follow weld procedure specifications (WPS). Tig & Mig.
- Conduct safe and proper machine operations as per SOP training
- Conduct Pre-operational inspections of machinery and equipment
About you:
- Experience as a Boilermaker
- 2-3 years qualified experience in both MIG, TIG welding at the minimum
- Have a passion to grow your career
- High attention to detail
