HD Fitter | Pinkenba | $40.50 PH plus penalties
The Job:
- Exciting opportunity for a heavy diesel fitter’s working on trucks that carry liquid. This includes Fire trucks, Origin trucks, Gas trucks.
- Your role will be maintaining & servicing equipment.
- Maintenance of prime movers and trailers as per custom schedule
- Using your knowledge to fault find and carry out repairs.
About you:
- Ideally you will be strong with book work.
- Welding experience preferable but not essential
- You will have good communication skills and excellent work ethic.
- You will exercise duty of care in all aspects of safety and be able to follow safety procedures.
- Forklift license if applicable.
- Own transport & current drivers licence
- Recognised suitable trade qualifications and or experienced in fitting.
- Experience in Fault finding desirable.
- Experience with pumps, vents, and valves.
- Self-motivated & positive attitude towards Workplace Health & Safety
- Reliable & punctual
